**This refers to the old licensing model that uses the Licensing Utility instead of the Licensing Wizard.**
The answer to this question is dependent on whether the software supports hardware licensing or not. Here are the two possibilities:
Hardware licensing supported (eg MatrikonOPC Tunneller) - When the licence expires, restarting the service will give you 2 hours of full functionality before failing. You can keep restarting the service every two hours to keep the software going.
Software licensing only / Hardware licensing NOT supported (eg MatrikonOPC Funnel) - When the licence expires, the software dies and disables the "enabled" checkbox in the configuration. If you re-enable this option, save and restart the service the licensing system will disable it again. In summary, there is no 2 hour grace period for MatrikonOPC Software that does not support hardware licensing.
